After many years of research, feedback from the top Dermatologists of the world & using the latest advances in Skincare technologies, the Super-strength Lightenex Gold in the Pharmaclinix range was developed.

The superficial barrier layer of the skin (corneum stratum), becomes extremely thickened in certain conditions e.g.:Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) i.e. after acne, eczema, Acanthosis nigracans- & does not allow rapid entry of whitening molecules to the deeper layers of the dermis, where melanin is made & concentrated.

These “tattoo –like” marks require this acid medium for maximum penetration.

The unique formulation is incorporated in a Nano-liposomal delivery system with the most advanced penetrating therapeutic technologies, so that maximum concentrations of powerful “stand alone” whitening ingredients are targeted at the Melanocytes.

These ingredients are then delivered deep into the dermis of the skin, using high acid content, buffered to pH3.54.

This allows the top layer of the epidermis to be effectively penetrated along with gently peeling away the corneum stratum to remove skin cells, which are full of the dark pigment, melanin.

Does not contain Hydroquinone

Particularly useful for thick dark grey-black areas of skin e.g.:

• Knees
• Elbows

• Under arms
• Private parts   
• Back of the neck
• Acanthosis Nigracans 

Caution:  As the formulation is very powerful;

• Avoid eye area
• Avoid in pregnancy
• Not suitable for children under 12 years old
• Sensitivity tests must be done on the inside of the fore arm
• May cause tingling for a few minutes after application, which will subside. 

Directions: 

Apply three times a day for one week; followed by twice a day.

Must apply a total sun block, e.g. Sun Blockex SPF 50 on top of the Lightenex Gold. 

Once the desired result has been achieved, we recommend that the user changes to the gentler Lightenex Plus, & eventually to Lightenex cream for maintenance.
